This is just a summary of my(programmer) github pushes, bcs why not
Initial (Push#0):
- Created game files
- About 10 hours of work before I started commiting to github lmao (i forgor)
Push#1:
- testing functionality of discord webhooks + initial filestructure
Push#2:
- Added InteractableObject Class
- Added ObjectGUI Class
- Updated TestScene to show functionality
Push#3:
- Added SceneTransition class
- Added FadeInOut transition
Push#4:
- Added Swiping Transition
Push#5:
- Added newest models to date
- Fixed issues with Godot’s imported ArrayMesh normals and tangents (HUGE)
Push#6:
- Added Jackalope model
- Updated player script to handle player rotation
- Added many export variables for polishing phase later on
Push#7:
- Added controller support
- Imported some textures from Knney.nl for the buttons
- Started implementing pause menu
Push#8:
- Added Player Walk animation
- Small fixes to materials
Push#9:
- Added functionality for pause menu
Push#10:
- Added custom button class that shows an icon next to the selected item
Push#11:
- Added Level UI
Push#12:
- Changed camera to perspective and change the angle
- Changed player movement to match new camera
Push#13:
- Added Action system that displays available actions in the bottom left corner
- Added a bit messy Inventory system for player and interactable objects
Push#14:
- Changed item class to custom resource for better code handling
- Added oven functionality, very messy, might require change to state machine later (way later)
Push#15:
- Started NPC class, Hub world, deleted old test files
Push#16:
- Added variables for each processed state to the Item class. Changed via it’s own function.
- Updated Kitchen layout to the newest one.
- Updated Hub Scene
- Changed Enviroment background to darker one
- Added Colored Action Key sprites to Action Buttons
- Added Action buttons for controllers
Push#17:
- Added functionality to Fridge, player can click button to take an item
- Updated Oven functionality to change item state
Push#18:
- Added Chopping block script, where the player has to mash the chop button to progress an item
Push#19:
- Changed from having 4 interact buttons to 2 on every platform
Push#20:
- Added click as input option for actions
Push#21:
- Added new plate object where player can drop items to
- Fixed a bug where items got replaced instead of swapping
